The PREDICTOM consortium has been recommended for funding throught the EU's Innovative Health Initiative.
PREDICTOM brings together 30 renowned industry partners and scientific institutions from Europe and the US who collaborate to establish a digital platform for the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. The total funding contributed by all partners amounts to € 12 million. The KI-VesD team will support the consortium with its expertise in vesicle diagnostics, planning to determine biomarker patterns in plasma vesicles that could help in the recognition of Alzheimer's or its early symptoms.
The EU's Innovative Health Initiative is a public-private partnership funding innovative health research.
