At µTAS's annual incarnation on 4th November 2025, Ehsan Marmodi Arjmand (Hahn-Schickard) presented recent advancements in a talk titled Comprehensive Validation of the VDisk for Robust and Reproducible Extracellular Vesicle Isolation from 0.1-1 mL Plasma via Multimodal Chromatography and Filtration.
The talk (available on YouTube) reviewed Ehsan's achievements at Hahn-Schickard where his work focuses on the development of fully automated, high-purity EV isolation solutions to support translational and clinical research applications. The V-Disk he is engineering together with the team simplifies the EV purification workflow, reducing time and effort, and is a significant step toward automated, robust, and reproducible EV isolation. In the aftermath, Ehsan invited the other participants to get in touch to discuss their application needs and to exchange expertise on workflow development and automation.
The µTAS is the biggest conference for Miniaturized Systems for Chemistry and Life Sciences. 2025's µTAS took place in Adelaide, Australia, and we were happy to join for a talk on our EV purification technology.
